The Arte Felguerez sculptures, made of iron covered with paper mache, depict a wide variety of sports activities, children playing and musicians with their different instruments.
Manuel Felguerez, the talented Mexican painter and sculptor, created the first figurines in 1964. Since 1988 his work has been continued by artist Luis Felguerez under the name Arte Felguerez.

The original characteristics of the sculptures have been preserved as well as extended to include many new images and ideas.

Since each piece is created entirely by hand using traditional tools and techniques, production is limited and no two pieces are created exactly alike.
